We are a “one-of-a-kind beauty salon”. We pride ourselves in perfection and customer service. Even though perfection is not from our world, we Strive to Exceed the Expectations of Our Customers. At Sarayu’s it’s not just about braiding, we build relationship with our customers. We are more a family than a salon. Here you are not just another customer, you are unique, and you matter to us.
Sarayu was taken from a movie “the Shack” (a must watch for every single person!).
In that movie, Sarayu meant “the wind of the spirit” and represented the spirit of the Lord or the holy spirit. I thought it was beautiful and compelling because I could relate. It was a moment of my life when I couldn’t see any light regardless of how hard I tried so I decided to get in agreement with God and understand the principle that “All things work for the good of those who love God”.
My hope is that my shop becomes “the dwellings of the holy spirit where every single Person entering shall have any burden lifted and where he/she shall experience the peace and the joy of the Lord.”
We will not only transform you on the outside but also on the inside regardless of your religious beliefs; this is more than just a beauty salon this is a therapy session, a real getaway.

The women in the circle represent us in the world. As you
can see, her hair is white (that’s what we do at the beauty salon. We make sure your hair looks Fantastic). But her face and shape are in Gold to show that we do not only stand for outside beauty, but we also believe in the beauty inside and out…
But that work inside will be done by the holy spirit through us…
